SIP trunking is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and streaming media service based on the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) by which Optivon, Inc. deliver telephone services and unified communications to customers. Optivon SIP Trunking can also work with a legacy telephone system or with analog telephones by adding a gateway (optional equipment). The gateway can support either analog (“tip and ring”) or digital (CAS/PRI) connections to the telephone system. With this service, a customer “ports” their existing business telephone numbers to Optivon’s service, and incoming calls are delivered to the PBX in the same fashion as they are today.
You can choose either a fixed monthly price per trunk or metered service, whatever suits your budget. SIP Trunks with unlimited service starts at $24.99/month flat rate per trunk* and you can choose local phone numbers (DIDs).
